Monday, June 16, 200810:38 PM ohmygosh, i'm posting from Chiang Mai in my room. actually, its not exactly a room. its many rooms. the residence i'm staying in is like biger than my house! i could fit my bedroom into the toilet -.-" damn, there is even a private swimming pool. i have never ever had a private swimming pool in my entire life! nor did i ever have a jacuzzi, a private library and airconditioning in every damn room. gosh, and all of this is like for free?! man, working in the coporate world does have its benefits. Chiang Mai is absolutely beautiful! i can mountains, padi fields and lagoons that stretch so far you can't see the end! the buildings are also gorgeous. they are all old british colonial homes. i don't think you will ever get to see anything so wonderful. the people here are all so friendly and carefree. everyone who sees you will keep smiling. and its like EVERYBODY rides a scooter. i even saw this girl, not more than my age riding one. gosh, and the roads are like the hills and slopes. instead of cutting throught hills and building tunnels, the roads follow the land instead. these people are never in a rush and they mind taking that extra 10mins to pass throught the hill. we took a tour of the Four Seasons Resort (where i am staying) its is HUGE. as in seriously! you need to take a buggy just to get to the lobby. after that, we took a cab down to a restaurant called "The House" its actually a house! its an old british colonial home (about 130years old) tranformed to a cozy little restaurant and Shop. the food served there was absolutely delicious! the shop sells the owner's own clothes line, jewellery and accesories. even furniture! they were all stunning! kinda regret not getting anything from there, oh well. anyways i shall stop here for now. extremely exhausted. shall continue updating tomorrow. i'll try to get the pictures up when i reach back Singapore. signing off. -post closed- Labels: i feel like a princess!
